We are a small, ARBA and HLRSC registered rabbitry located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. We are members of the Blue Ridge Rabbit & Cavy Association. We focus on type first, but we also are very fond of the shaded varieties. We breed for great type in Sable Point, Siamese sable, and Seal. With that comes the unavoidable REW, black, or black tort. Since we have a couple of dilute-carrying bucks, a blue variety shows up every now and then, but for the most part the ladies don’t have the genes for blue.
We’ve recently added Champagne D’argents to our herd! For now we’re going to stay Leckie Lops, though Champagnes are hardly lops! I’ve got to thank Wes at Homestead Rabbitry for his help in securing us a gorgeous doe from some great stock. Our Champagne project is small for now, but we look forward to that part of the rabbitry growing!
We have met a lot of nice people during this endeavor. I especially have to thank Malena at Hamilton’s Hoppin Lops. She really helped “jump start” my herd with some quality stock. Kristen at Keep's allowed us to have Barbi & Arlington join our herd early on, too.
